The Codes Officer endeavors to provide a wide range of building and property codes, as well as NYS inspection services that are of a direct benefit to the community. And while we acknowledge that some projects occasionally forego obtaining a Building Permit we caution our residents that should an accident, fire or other hazard occur during or after the project is completed, should your insurance carrier inquire to this office if the necessary permit or inspections were performed, they may delay or deny your claim.
