We realize that the reality of tightening budgets may have led some of you to ponder the advantages of living in the Village and the applicable taxes. With this, I believe it is important to review some of the great benefits to you and some reasons to remain a resident of the Queen Village.
- Fire / EMT protection
- Police coverage and protection
- Summer recreation program available for children
- Curb-side pickup of leaves and debris
- Spring and Fall curb-side metal pick-up
- Summer concert series in the Village park
- Continual maintenance of the village streets and sidewalks
- Winter snow removal of streets, sidewalks and parking lots
- The preservation, beautification and usage of the many charming parks in the Village (ie.) Village Park, Forest Park, Johnson Park and Freedom Park.

Village Board meetings are held in the Village Office, on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
